The 26-year-old singer-songwriter, Clint Roberts, joins the folk revival of Western North Carolina from his home in Brevard, just 40 miles south of Asheville. He describes his unique sound as “heart-broken, existential roots-rock,” blending weighty lyrics with guitar, pedal and lap steel, harmonica, percussion, and keys.
Today the young artist premieres a new single, “Nero’s Waltz.” It envelopes a politically charged persona, written from the subjective perspective of ‘The Man.’ The satirical song offers the first look at his debut album due in early 2021.
